A guide to blowing out and straightening your hair.

 Hey guys,
i blew out my hair after 8 months of going heat free, it gave me a very good and an up close look at my ends and boy did i need a trim. Some people prefer to trim their hair when its in its natural state than the straight one to avoid heat damage, but do whatever works for you.

Some pointers to remember when using heat are:

1. Always do a protein treatment before heat application. What this will do is give your hair the strength for what lies ahead because the protein will coat all the hair strands thus less damage.

2. Follow your normal wash day routine prior to using heat, this lets the hair get all the moisture it needs.

3. Use low heat setting if your hair is fine, but if its as kinky and thick as mine don't be afraid to use high heat, it reduces on blowing time and gets the hair more straight.
4. Most important use heat protectant. This thing is da bomb lol, it prevents heat damage and brings back the curl definition after the hair has been induced to high levels of heat.
5. Enjoy your hair while its straight because detangling time has been cut down, we all know how long that takes. Play around with some new hairstyles, though i prefer my hair in its coily form i do love my hair straight aswell and that the magic with my kind of hair. #blackgirlmagic

Thank you for reading be blessed.
