Tips on how to grow healthy hair

I just want to start by saying that all hair grows unless you have a medical condition. Its also important to note that as much as our hair can grow to longer lengths, there are certain practices that hinder us from retaining the much needed length. So if you reading this blog you are trying to grow healthy hair so here are some of the tips i have helpful as i try to grow mine.

1. Stop the hands in syndrome
I had to learn this the hard way sadly, i was always re twisting my hair every night and just playing with my hair,those months i realised that i retained much less than what i normally retain,which was crazy but having your hands ever in your hair will do you more harm than good,best believe.

2. Protective styling
I wrote a more detailed post about this so check it out. But basically protecting your hair will help retain more length.

3. Moisturizing
This is like the most important thing for naturals especially, because our hair gets dry way to quickly and then begins to break. Oil doesn't moisturize the hair but water will, so when buying your products and you want something that moisturizes your hair the first ingredient should be water or aqua and shouldn't have any mineral oils because they are like the enemy of progress lol. Moisture can be incorporated through deep conditioners and the method you choose to seal your hair either lco or loc.

4. Vitamins
I others do like taking any vitamins this one is a personal choice. Vitamins help you grow your hair from the inside, healthy body healthy hair. So as much as you dont want the vitamins they really do there work and you see the results with your hair, some examples of these vitamins are biotin, a simple multivitamin, hairfinity, mane's choice vitamins there so many on the markets.

Lastly i just want to say patience pays. Your hair will grow eventually, enjoy the length you have and rock it make it work. At the end of the end it's just hair.
